This is Us
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
We’ve all made our fair share of mistakes in this world; many of these mistakes helped us become the competent professionals we are today. Without these lessons, we would be left referencing textbook material and subjective news commentary, and that’s no way to run a business. Our hope for every one of our clients is that after each meeting, you’ll feel more confident and rest assured that we are doing everything we possibly can to help you get the mortgage you need and to protect your greatest assets.
Mortgage Broker & Financial Advisor
I have been working in the Financial Industry since March 1999, I left a career company in 2005 and decided to go on my own and started working as an independent Financial Adviser. I got my license for the Mortgage Industry in 2007. Learning this industry has been an intriguing one as there are so many different mortgage products than what the banks offer.
Fun Fact: I graduated from High School when I was 17 years old and married. My husband and I have been married since 1982!
Administrative Assistant & Insurance Broker
Before coming to work for Karen in 2008, I graduated from Universal Career College as an Accounting Technician with honors. I then went on to work for a Chartered Accountant for several years before I made a career change and became an Administrative Assistant. I wrote my LLQP exam in May 2011 to attain my Life License to sell/service insurance.
Fun Fact: I had the privilege to travel to Ecuador in 2005 to do some children's ministry in the heart of the Amazon Jungle.
I started working for Karen in the summer of 2008. Many things have happened since then and now I enjoy working on a casual basis. I homeschool my 3 wonderful children and enjoy time with my husband when he is home from his truck-driving job.
Fun Fact: I surprised my family when I passed my road test which allowed me to drive school bus, which I enjoyed for a couple of years.
Lucy & Odie
We both share the same mother and love to spend time running around the office, playing with one another, providing Karen & Brenda with entertaining antics, and providing the support they need when the day gets ruff!
Fun Fact: Lucy is a year older than Odie but they are both Shorkie-Poos.
